ADBLUE EMULATOR INSTALLATION MANUAL FOR VOLVO FH4 EURO 5 4-series
1. Install emulator fully as per instructions.
2. Turn ignition on and wait for 1 minute for the emulator to record all parameters from the ECU.
3. Disconnection power from ACM module and NOx sensor (Step 3 or 4).

Step 1: Wire connection
Red – Power of the emulator – connect to terminal 15 of the vehicle (wire 2020 pin 26 socket XC203)
Brown – GND of the emulator – connect to terminal 31 of the vehicle (pin 10 socket XC203)
Yellow – CAN-bus1 – connect to the wire 7004 – pin 1 of the socket XC203
Green – CAN-bus1 – connect to the wire 7005 – pin 2 of the socket XC203
Gray – CAN-bus2 – connect to the wire 7038 – pin 34 of the socket XC302
Orange – CAN-bus2 – connect to the wire 7039 – pin 36 of the socket XC302
LEDs modes:
LED 1 (Blue) – CAN bus1 mode
– flashing – normal mode
– OFF mode – CAN bus1 wrong connected or doesn’t work.
LED 2 (Blue) – CAN bus2 mode
– fast flashing – normal mode
– OFF mode – CAN bus2 wrong connected or doesn’t work.
LED 3 (Orange) – ACM is in CAN bus
– OFF mode – normal mode
– Flashing – ACM is powered.
LED 4 (Orange) – NOx sensors are in CAN bus
– OFF mode – normal mode
– Flashing – NOx sensors are powered.
LED 5 (Red) – Emulator mode
– Steady ON – Standby / Didn’t learn (didn’t read VIN, Chassis, Firmware and software numbers)
– OFF mode – emulator Learned
– Flashing – Retarder version (Retarder was found in CAN bus)
Step 2: Disabling ACM system
1* – Recognized with Retarder version
2* – Recognized Without Retarder version
3* – Wrong connection to the CAN buses or unsuccessful learn. Need again OFF/ON ignition.
Step 3: Connecting Can Smart Adblue Emulator
Connect emulator to the socket XC203 (located under hood at the right side) and to the socket XC302 (located in the frame at front right side under cabin).
Step 4: Power disconnection
For disabling original ACM system and NOx sensors (With Retarder version) need:
– cut wire 2161 or pull out pin 49 from A socket of A174B module
– cut Engine Subnet CAN bus wires 7038, 7039 or pull out pins 1 and 5 from A socket of A174B module
– move to the ON position switch 1 located on the PCB of the emulator
